Do you do more than just wedding photo editing?

Absolutely. We can edit any type of session, portraits, real estate, headshots, engagements, boudoir, etc.

What if I have changes?

No problem. Just let us know within 7 business days of receiving your files, and we’ll be happy to keep tweaking the images until they’re perfect for you.

What if you don’t match my style?

Every photographer is different. That’s one of the things that makes you unique as a photographer! It’s also the reason we always do a trial edit to ensure that your style stays consistent when you work with us. We aim to get it right the first time, but we’re happy to do revisions if something isn’t quite right. We’re constantly learning and evolving and tweaking alongside you.

How does culling (image selection) work?

Throughout the image selection process, we’ll take all of the images from your session, examine each image for sharpness, composition, and facial expressions, and then choose the best ones according to your preferences. Once we’re done, we’ll send back XMPs with the selected files marked with 5 stars.

What presets do you work with?

All of them! Our photographers are all unique in their photo editing style so we have experience working with many. Some common preset companies we work with include: VSCO, Mastin, Tribe, DVLOP, and custom presets.

Hybrid AI FAQs

Can I send you my existing profile?

If you are working with an existing Aftershoot profile we can contact admins to transfer the profile to our account. If you have an ImagenAI profile, we have to build a new profile in Aftershoot using 2500+ images, or you can apply your profile before sending us your images.

How long does it take to build a profile?

Once you and your clients are happy with the album design, just click Approve on Album Exposure, and we’ll get a notification immediately that you’re ready for the print-ready JPEGs.

I don’t have a profile created, can you create one for me?

Yup! No problem. For $100, we can build, store, and run your AI for you. No need to work with another system to get your images edited.

Do you have a minimum time for hourly retouching?

Yes. We charge a 1-hour minimum for photo retouching at $75/hour.

What photo retouching services do you offer?

We can do anything and everything! We mainly work with natural situations, some common things we do include removing distracting objects, calming down wild hairs, smoothing skin, removing blemishes, whitening the bottom of your wedding dress, etc… We won’t do anything drastic like head swaps or body swaps.

What type of images do you need for photo retouching?

We want your fully edited, high-resolution JPG files. We will always send back the fully retouched JPEG file. We will not send the Photoshop file.

Retouching FAQs

What’s the difference between hourly and Lightroom retouching?

There is some basic retouching that can be achieved in Lightroom. Lightroom retouching also includes any extensive use of filters to make your images pop. Not sure which is the better option for you? Send us an email for more information.

Do you do body retouching?

We will do skin smoothing on your face or body but won’t stretch, shrink or plump a body. We think you’re beautiful just the way you are.

I’m not a professional photographer, can I still use you?

Unfortunately, we only work with professional photographers at this time. But, if you have questions about photo retouching send us an email and we’d be happy to recommend some great programs/companies to you!

Do you do album design for events other than weddings?

Absolutely! We’ve done albums for families, engagement sessions, guest books, portrait sessions, bar-mitzfahs, bat-mitzfah’s, etc.

What file format/resolution do you work with?

For album design, we accept high-resolution JPEG files for the images. This is the simplest way for us to design and it eliminates some of the back and forth at the end of the process.

I can’t narrow down my images. Can you do it for me?

Of course! Through our image selection service you can send over all images from the wedding, your clients favourites, or anywhere in between and we will narrow them down for you. We charge $50 for our image selection service.

How many images should I choose for an album?

We recommend about 3-5 images per spread and 10-20 spreads per album depending on how you want your final product to look.

Which album companies do you work with?

You name ‘em, we work with ‘em! Vision Art, Renaissance, Madera, Red Tree, Leather Craftsman, Queensberry, etc. We work with them all.

How many changes can I make?

We include unlimited changes in all of our album design orders.

Album Design FAQs

How do I show my clients the album?

We integrate directly with Album Exposure. They have a clean interface that shows off your album beautifully. It will allow you to add in your own branding, and it acts as a middleman between us and the clients so we’re able to stay anonymous. If you’d prefer, you can choose to act as the middleman before the changes get passed along.

If you’ve already seen the proof through Album Exposure, then all you have to do is Accept the album to pass it along to your clients.

How do I approve my album?

Once you and your clients are happy with the album design, just click Approve on Album Exposure, and we’ll get a notification immediately that you’re ready for the print-ready JPEGs.

I’ve approved the design. What do I do next?

As soon as you click Approve on Album Exposure, we’ll get a notification that you’re ready for the print-ready JPEGs. We’ll prepare those within 24 hours and you’ll get an e-mail from Album Exposure containing a download link for your files.

Will my clients know that someone else designed my album?

No, we stay completely anonymous.

How long does it take to complete an album?

Our turnaround is the same as our editing turnaround. We complete the first draft of an album within 7-9 business days, and each revision within 1-2 business days.
